PBIS is a system approach to preventing and responding to classroom and school discipline problems. A Process using evidence-based best practices. It is a way to alter the host environment of a school that can sustain an increase in learning and teaching time.
"To change the behavior of those around you, you must change what you do. By changing what you do, you change the environment of those around you, which in turn changes them." By Aubry c. Daniels. Paderewski has defined the school expectations as: Be Repectful Be Responsible Be Safe When a child adhere to the expectations they are rewarded with Paderewski Buck which can be use at the PBIS store. If the entire Class adheres to the expectations they are awarded with by Tokens. The class with the most Tokens are awarded with incentives.
